The strength and ability to minister to all people groups comes from our individual ministries. Please take time to review each ministry and its personnel. You would be welcomed to join in and participate in most any of these ministries.
Children
The Children’s Ministry is a vital part of Woodruff Church of God. We not only believe that the children are the church of tomorrow, but also the church of today. This ministry exists to provide a strong spiritual foundation through which our children can come to know Jesus Christ and fulfill His purpose for their lives.
Youth
How Biblically literate do you think you are? All of the information we need to deal with life is in the Bible. I challenge you to get into your Bible. Study it, apply it and most of all Fall In LOVE with IT. It will be life changing. If you study the Word of God and Pray, your life can change dramatically.
I dare you, pick up the Word!!!!!
Young Adults
Are you in your late teens, 20’s, or 30’s? And looking for a place to fit in? You may be female, male, a student, a professional, single, married, a parent, still living at home with parents, Generation X or a Millennial, an ordained minister, or someone who hasn’t stepped inside a church since high school, or anything in between. We have a place for you to pursue your purpose, Woodruff Church of God Young Adult Ministry. Let us be the next step in your faith journey. At WCOG Young Adult Ministry, we are dedicated to creating an environment for Young Adults to encounter, explore, and enjoy spirituality in day to day living. We hope you will come and be a part of those who are gaining new perspectives on life, focusing on true priorities, and experiencing God’s grace, love, peace and His power.
Women
This group focuses mainly on the needs and problems of women. Special Bible studies, banquets, programs, fund raising for special church projects, are just a few things in which the Women’s Ministries are involved. This program is not one of the local church only, but an international ministry. Let’s not forget one of the newer fellowship groups for ladies; the Red Hatter’s!
Men
Our Purpose: To create an environment in which both churched & unchurched men can come together for understanding, relationship building, instruction, problem-solving, and learning to know God on a personal level.
Music
The Spirit of Praise Music Ministry’s mission is to first of all provide the means by which we lead our church into the awesome presence of God. Both instrumentally and vocally, we desire to lead the saved into an encounter with the Father and point the lost in the direction of the Savior of the world.
Secondly, we desire to be proclaimers to the world outside the church walls. Whether this be with special programs, other ministry opportunities, or simple everyday living, we must always proclaim the good news to a dying world.
Prayer
The Prayer Ministry is a vital part of Woodruff Church of God. We not only believe that the children are the church of tomorrow, but also the church of today. This ministry exists to provide a strong spiritual foundation through which our children can come to know Jesus Christ and fulfill His purpose for their lives.
F.R.E.E.D
The F.R.E.E.D. Ministry is a fairly new ministry at WCOG, where those battling addictions of all kinds can meet and encourage one another, through prayer and fellowship. We meet weekly on Tuesdays and would love to have anyone who is battling addiction or is affected by addiction.
