I’ve studied the last week of Jesus life, His death, resurrection, those He appeared to, what He said….all the way to the promise He gave them right before His ascension. “….Ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence”. Why was that important? Well before Jesus died, He had called people to “follow Him”. Now He wanted people to “go tell”. And to make sure that they had everything they needed to be the most effective witnesses, He wanted them to be empowered by the Holy Ghost. I mentioned Sunday night that one of the meanings of “filled” is that of accomplishment.
