Today, I thought I would do something different. Instead of talking about something, I wanted to offer a prayer.

Oh, God… our loving Father, hear me today I pray. I come not to ask for anything for selfish reasons. I come to seek Your face for Your presence. You said in Your Word, “seek me and you’ll find me, if you search for Me with all your heart”. Father God, I’m after You! I’m looking for You, searching for You, longing for You, desirous for You! Hear me today, Lord. I am not alone. The church I’m blessed to serve is hungry for You! They, too, long for Your presence. Together Lord, we’ve declared a fast. We’re pushing away from what we desire for our flesh and feeding what we desire in the spirit and that is YOU! Move in us oh Lord! Move in our families, move in our children, move in our marriages, move on our jobs, move in our homes…..move in our CHURCH!!!!! I want to thank you for prayers you’ve already answered, but Father God, let the flood gates of heaven open and pour it out on us. Move on our behalf. Save our sons and daughters. Save our lost family. Save our neighbors and work associates. Save sinners! Restore the backsliders and bring them home again. Stir the hearts of the complacent, the apathetic, and the lukewarm. GIVE US REVIVAL!!!!!! Oh God, send REVIVAL NOW!!!!!! Use Pastor Shealy to bring the Word of God to us tonight and in the weeks to come. Use Neal Nolan to proclaim the message we need to hear. Make us sensitive to Your voice and to Your Spirit. Do in us something that has never been done before. Let the winds of Revival blow, let the fire fall, let the river flow and let Your glory descend. We want You and we need You! Honor our efforts as we fast, pray, and seek Your face. Again, Lord….. please know that we love You with all our hearts. In the name that is above every name…. the name of the Savior, Your only Son, Jesus! AMEN!
