Fasting, Day 2
Home > Pastor's Blog > Fasting, Day 2Did I mention that when you fast and pray, you are entering the devil’s territory? Please know that I’m not trying to frighten you, but I want you to be prepared. The enemy of our soul is not going to sit by and watch us come into his camp and claim back what belongs to us. He will resist and he will fight. But I’m reminded of the scripture that I learned as a child. “I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me.” YES WE CAN! We can do this. We might have to suffer through some hunger pains, some headaches because we aren’t getting our caffeine, some struggles because of the enemies push…..BUT WE CAN MAKE IT. Don’t forget the afterward!!!!!!!
Sunday, someone at church had gotten a word from the Lord. They wrote it down and gave it to me. This is part of what it said: “….don’t expect me to come the same as before. Expect even greater! Don’t live in the revival of the past and don’t limit me, for I am God Almighty and nothing is too hard or impossible for me.” After re-reading that, I’m not as hungry as I thought! I’m ready for God to show up and show out!
